Excellent work! Reminds me some of Thomas Bergersen's stuff on American Dream - albeit shorter :P Keen to see what this turns into!

Thank you. I actually talked to Thomas Bergersen not too long before I wrote this, our styles do in fact mesh every now and then.
I must say, OloIron nailed it on the head! This song creates a very magical, warm feeling. The pizzicato? strings compliment the build very well. Nice!
Thanks! Yeah, the strings were playing pizzicato there.
This could certainly have fit the more dramatic scenes from Castle! Nice tension building around the 1:30 mark
Thanks TitanMusic!
I haven't watched many Korean dramas but I'm pretty sure this would fit the bill! Good job, man :)
Haha thanks dude! :)
This is absolutely incredible man!
You guys really hit that oriental 'nail' on the head with this one.
There is such a vast and engaging cinematic feel to this piece, I am really impressed.
Well done to all the participants.
This is a great loop, man.
The piano is very warm which is great as the after effects really build on a darker kind of sound. Building tension but not distracting from the core of the song and yet, still managing to fill up the sound.
Really liking these "unused" tracks.
Thank you very much!
This is great!
if you threw in some violins after the second or third repetition once the horns have come in it would have been damn awesome.
Nonetheless, this sounds really good. The horns, in particular, make this stand out for a short cinematic piece.
Thanks for your comment! :-)
This is incredibly impressive and has inspired me to finally create a "Newgrounds Composers" folder on my pc.
This is a tantalizing mix of western composition style imbued with the exuberance and flavour of the middle east. I find this incredibly unique and sophisticated, most composers aspire to write a middle eastern melody and song which ignores the western style in the hopes of making it sound "Eastern" and failing dismally. This sounds far more akin to what a professional composer would write when commissioned for a piece of this style. I absolutely love the hybrid nature of this song.
I cannot fault you on this piece and have listened to it more than 10 times in the last hour.
Thank you!
Oh damn, this review definitely made my day! Thanks a lot for dropping by!

That's awesome. I love the Audio Portal; there's so much good stuff on here and my music folder is comprised heavily of Audio Portal music!

I'm glad you noticed that. I did try and make something that had eastern/exotic flavours, but still wouldn't sound out of place in a western context, like some blockbuster movie. It was partially inspired by the styles of the songs I mentioned in the Author's Comments. If you like this hybrid, you should check those out, which do something similar.

Woo, thanks a lot! This review meant a lot; it's great to see that people enjoy this, especially since it's not a personal project but it's made for something else.
Thanks again, you're awesome, good luck with your own music, etc.
